The deadline was November end,due to unexpected business trip,I have to time to polish more but hand in less satisfied version...However,it had great time to this illustration!

There is no boundary between 3D&2D,just tools to achieve and present digital arts.

I detailed the bugqueen then I made screenshot into photoshop to make quick composes to find my  image composition , color volumes for my main character,background and atmosphere.
It's a key plan for my next step to finish image.(what color should I polypaint on,how detail&what angle should my big bug present,some other props or effects would be added ,etc)

It have spend 1.5 years to make my beast at odd time...I've made many changes every long interval I opened the file .Its unwise to have such long duration,but I am satisfied my beast became better and better after my modifications.
This is what it looks like now.still WIP,will finish it soon :D

Hi,I made skin study and practiced on her .Also,I tweaked some parts of model to meet up with adding details and textures. I think she looks more realistic :D

I participated CG Hub 3D Creature Planets #20: Beautiful Grotesque 4 months ago,but I didn't deliver my  work cause I mistook final time.

This was my first time trying grotesque creature.My idea was to create a born-deformed,human-like,with bat's DNA creature : degenerated eyes,big ears,wings,deformed limbs,ect.And I thought she pregnant with big belly would be more creepy.
However,the challenge was "Beautiful Grotesque",I wished she still could convey some kind of beauty though grotesque appearance, so I gave her a elegant pose.

And these were my final images that time,but I have modified some recently.
